Am I correct in assuming that by running the 1UP kernel, I'll be getting _all_ the benefit of its speed? In other words, I won't get any performance hit just because the chip itself wants to run HT, right? Miark (*) In fact, I'll be running Win XP for one reason alone: to play Half-Life 2, and I understand that HL2 screws up if you have HT enabled, so I absolutely don't want it in Winblows.
