Hi
I've just bought a Fuji finepix 5600.
So far this camera is not recognised by either gnome or kde packages.
But when connecting the USB cable I get the message that there are photos on the inserted media
would you like to import them in to your photo album.
on clicking on import it does something, but I cant find where its importing to.
app starting is gtkam
/etc/dynamic/user-scripts/digicam.script doesn't say where to import to .
and the s/w ware supplied doesn't run in cxoffice.
I could boot into windows and run the s/w from there, but I'd prefer to get it running in linux.
Suggestions ????
TIA Richard
Same thing happened here the first time I plugged my Sony into the 2006 box.
I was able to browse the cam easily because it was picked
up in the Devices folder as removeable media. That may
help you.
yes I found that OK
That's very strange behavior a GTKam indicates its importing to the photo album,Out of curiosity, though, I searched for the pics that supposedly had dl'ed to 'photo album'. They are nowhere to be found under the filename assigned by the camera.
Lee
I've installed all the cam packages I can find , but so far no support for my camera :(
