Da war ich etwas voreilig

Ist aber so !! Nachdem ich den obigen LSB-Block entfernt habe :

[root@ernie etc]# vi /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql
[root@ernie etc]# chkconfig --add mysql
[root@ernie etc]# chkconfig --list mysql
mysql           0:Aus   1:Aus   2:Ein   3:Ein   4:Ein   5:Ein   6:Aus
