But even if your grub configuration file is wrong, you can still select which kernel, which initrd and which parameter to use on the fly: just press 'esc', then 'e' to edit pre-defined settings when you reach grub menu. As long as you didn't uninstalled the old kernels, you can still use them, whatever your grub configuration file is.Is anyone using it ? I can't run virtual host at all on x86_64, and I don't have spare i586 hosts to test.
I have instaled via Drake-Wizard. After instaled it was not able to boot - the Grub was changed (!) and Grub cannot load __any__ kernel.
I have to reinstall the system 'cos rescue on the install dvd doesn't work - it the only print messages but not changes at all. What doesn't work ? 'reinstalling bootloader' is not the solution if your grub configuration is wrong. You have to launch a console, and edit the file yourself.
Now the kernel for Xen boot-up and during boot/init: Kernel Panic!!!
You probably have a initrd issue: https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=40805
