Col,
I may be jumping off the deep end here, probably because I may not
have understood the issue properly, because I am only about to upgrade
my 2008.0 system to 2008.1 from the 3 free cd's (I really want the
powerpack, but I can't get any response from Mandriva Australia, about
whether or not the boxed 2008 Powerpack that they are advertising for
less than the 2008.1 Powerpack download version is actually 2008.1), but
here goes.
I was under the impression that mdv2008.1 was later than mdv2008.0,
therefore 1.0mdv2008.1 is a later version than 1.1mdv2008.0, hence there
should not be any upgrade issue and, if there is then there is a bug in
the package application. Is this reasonable, or have I completely
misunderstood the problem?

regards,
Steve
