Well, thanks for forwarding this to cooker, but I don't see anything
to discuss... what could be the drawback of adding TCB and
pam_passwdqc in Mandriva ?

Absolutely none.  There are no drawbacks.  pam_passwdqc can mimick the
lesser behaviour of pam_cracklib quite easily and is configurable via
system-auth and parameters to the module.

pam_tcb can deal with /etc/shadow as easily as /etc/tcb/*.

There are no drawbacks, and no regressions.

Which is why I didn't get the vehement disagreement when I brought this
up initially over a year ago.
