I was late for this rebuild, but.. could I ask for the binaries be
renamed to g??-4.3.0, instead of g??4.3 ?

It will follow the standard for gcc3.3 and system gcc (4.2).
And now we have a useless 'gcc4.3-version', that says (correctly) 4.3.0
but can't be used to do gcc-$(gcc4.3-version) things...

And perhaps install also alternatives, as the system compiler now
is defined by alternatives priorities.

I have been re-reading the previous discussion in the cooker list,
and do not know if points of view have changed, but I think that with
current setup is harmless and more standard...
you have several compilers installed and select the preferred one
with the alternative.

Plz ?
