Thanks tried, result:
ffdemux_mpegets: Element doesn't implement handling of this stream. Please 
file a bug.

I am sure that if I install some codecs it will work, but my question was 
rather; what prevents me using vlc as the embedded multimedia reader; linux 
is all about choice; and that used to work with 2008, (and I am not sure but 
I think it worked with the previous cooker version of Firefox), so this is a 
regression for me.
