Things move so fast there that by the time I've either created a package for it or adjusted a specfile to shoehorn it into an existing package that it's not officially part of, that it could have already been incorporated into a different upstream package! It's really, really easy to compile it yourself. You don't even need to be root! Just: git clone git://anongit.opencompositing.org/fusion/plugins/shift cd shift make install Job done :) It just puts them in your ~/.compiz/ folder. You'll perhaps need some devel libs installed so shout if you get stuck and can't work out which ones you need.... (definitely compiz-devel and pango-devel in this case) Ditto goes for the other plugins that are not part of the official packs (like gears or aquarium for example). Get the git URL from the gitweb page: http://gitweb.opencompositing.org/ In the future you may have to clean out your ~/.compiz/ folder of old libraries installed in this way. Good luck :) Col -- +--------------------------+ | Colin Guthrie | +--------------------------+ | cguthrie(at)mandriva.org | | http://colin.guthr.ie/ | +--------------------------+
