I reported the bug here http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=30489 which can be marked as duplicate of this bug IMHO. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandriva.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: kernel@mandriva.com status: NEW distribution: cooker creation_date: description: I have a Logitech wireless mouse with a USB receiver. Whenever this receiver disconnects from the USB controller (either because of its normal sleep behavior or because I unplug it), a kernel oops error occurs: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address .. BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address .. These events have variously occurred in the midst of the hald, udevd, and syslogd processes; when the former two daemons were affected by the error, my machine crashed. I never observed this behavior when using Mandriva 2007.0 on the exact same machine with the same mouse equipment. I was running kernel-2.6.17.8mdv at the time.
