There are many parsing errors and segfaults when trying to use automount information in ldap. For example, this simple config in /etc/autofs/auto.master doesn't work at all:

/home2   ldap://fox.conectiva/ou=automount,o=conectiva,c=br

Watching the logs and network, automount doesn't even recognize this as an ldap map. This shows up in the logs (-v -d):

Jan 11 16:15:30 pandora automount[13421]: master_error: syntax error while parsing map.
Jan 11 16:15:30 pandora automount[13421]: master_read_master: no mounts in table


I updated it to version rc3 and it started working. Now the logs are:
