I notice this reaction everywhere I look at this story (mainly /.)
Even in myself, but I don't know Gael Duval personally or even really by
reputation. I've just been using Mandrake since 5.3 (or thereabouts), so
this still feels like a rib being removed from my body. 

I wish all those who were fired all the best, hopefully it will end up
better for them in the end. I don't know if I'll be leaving Mandriva as
a user, but I will certainly look harder for something with a less
corporate feel to it and more of a "doing great things together" feel to
it.
