Although I like improvements to the UI (and this looks like
improvement), I think the functionality of working with wireless
interfaces needs more improvement. Especially WPA support and easier
working with keys for WEP/WPA. 

I have a nokia 770, which runs linux (see http://maemo.org/ ) and it is
made more oriented towards wifi access. When you want to connect it
lists all the available APs and the type of encryption it has, for each
one you want to connect to, you can store the connection parameters
(details like static or dynamic IP assignment and even transmit power).
The only thing it is missing as well is an easy way to use "quiet" APs,
which don't broadcast their ESSID.

And what about ad hoc networking, I think it would be really nice to be
able to choose that and work together with a few people without needing
an access point to connect us...
