you should look at Russian ones then :(

but it can't be fixed unless consistent encoding for man pages is established. 
I do not trust automatic encoding detection frankly speaking. World is not 
limited to latin1 vs. utf-8.

I vote for making UTF-8 man page a standard policy; it makes it possible to 
consistently use 'iconv -f utf-8' as filter for non-UTF locales i.e. be 
consistent with current situation.
