description:
I can't use my printer on my computer running Cooker x86_64. I keep getting
the error "Printer not connected; will retry in 30 seconds..."

The printer IS connected. Entries are created in /dev. I can see it in usbview.
Printerdrake sees it.

The printer is a Brother HL-5140. Connected through USB.

I'm running the latest version of cups (cups-1.2.0-0.5205.1mdk) which I
recompiled from the SRPM because the x86_64 is not on the mirrors.

I tried running cups with "LogLevel debug" and even "LogLevel debug2" in
cupsd.conf. I don't see anyhing in the file /var/log/cups/error_log indicating
what is the problem.

I also tried removing everything in /etc/cups and reconfigure everything. Still
does not work.
