[Cooker] Problem with display shutting off on laptop

I bought a new Compaq nc6120 and i'm experiencing some porblems. Like I cant 
shut off the display cause if I open it the screen stays black. Shuting down 
system sometimes it hangs on "unmounting partitions" and rebooting shows "No 
reboot fixup found for your hardware". Stoping laptop-mode gives lots of 
errors. The first bug (with display) is real pain in the ass. I can't close 
my the display at all. I can live with other problems tho.
