this was already fixed a while ago in cooker. it's probably a dupe, but I don't
know the exact bug number.

Default installation of Mandriva2006RC2 leaves user to manually mount USB
storage media.

I'm assuming this is an oversight in configuration as the media mounts manually
without problems on using:

mount /dev/sda /mnt/usbmedia

This seems hardware independent as 3 different computers I have installed
2006RC2 behave the same way.
