Something changed - though I can't say I understand it: I have always made
a connection with a couple of sudo commands. Suddenly with this package it
stopped working and "sudo /sbin/ifup eth0" gave the error:

quote
sudo: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.2.so.7: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory
unquote

which I didn't have if I gave the same command as root. The difference
isn't quite clear to me, but on the other hand I did find that if I made a
soflink from /usr/lib/libldap-2.2.so.7 to libldap-2.3.so.0, it starts
working again also as user with the sudo command.

You could tell me I shouldn't connect this way, but it worked okay for me
for 2 1/2 years. On the other hand I might be onto some buglet, but I'm not
sure about that.

HTH
Best regards,
