      Distribution: cooker
Summary: X-Server for r128 dont work
           Product: xorg-x11-server
           Version: 6.9-0.cvs20050829.1mdk
          Platform: i386
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: high
          Priority: normal
         Component: xorg-x11-server
        AssignedTo: svetljo@gmx.de
        ReportedBy: dirk.larisch@arcor.de

The X-Server-lib for riva 128 Chips dont work since change to dlopen-calls.

from the X.0.log:
(II) LoadModule: "r128"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.so
dlopen: /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.so: undefined symbol:
gR128EntityIndex
(EE) Failed to load /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/r128_drv.so
(II) UnloadModule: "r128"

solution:
try the sourcecode and change the spec from:
%define use_dlopen_modules 1

to
%define use_dlopen_modules 0

and recompile all works fine.

the changelog says:
%changelog
* Fri Aug 26 2005 Frederic Lepied <flepied@mandriva.com> 6.9-0.cvs20050825.1mdk
- udpated cvs tar ball
- desactivated xkb patch
- use the dlloader to be compatible with the ATI driver

newer version also "infected".
