Not detected on Cooker since I installed 2005LE and then upgraded to Cooker, but anyway:

I noticed in my newly-installed system that /sys was not added to the
fstab by the installer. It was supposed to add a line like:

none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

Anyone else had this problem? The /proc entry was added correctly. The
full fstab is (sysfs, column alignment and some FHS fixes added manually):

/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1 /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/vg05/home /home ext3 nodev,nosuid 1 2
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/vg05/tmp /tmp ext3 nodev,nosuid 1 2
/dev/vg05/var /var ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user 0 0
/dev/hdb /media/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0
/dev/vg05/swap swap swap defaults 0 0
