I have a running MDK 9.2 installation in the second half of the HD. I wanted to install MDK10 RC1 in the first half of the HD, dual booting into 9.2 or 10, and using LVM for MDK 10 (1 lvm partition spanning half the HD). I have used LVM with MDK 9.2 on another box (not laptop) out of the box. However, after installing the selected packages with MDK10, it fails on installing the bootloader (even before getting to choose between LILO/Grub). I don't think it has to do with /boot being under lvm too, since this worked with 9.2... I haven't been able to boot any RC1 installation this way (I've tried several times, with different package selections, etc.) Has anyone have bootloader problems with MDK10 RC1? Might it be an LVM issue?
