This is an old bug, closing as RESOLVED/OLD. If you are not
satisfied with OLD resolution, test your problem with latest
packages from Cooker and if your problem occurs with these packages,
please reopen this bug, thank you.

System: Asus A7N8X nForce2 with silicon Image SATA raid controller on 
motherboard, 2x Seagate 120G SATA drives, no raid configured. Memory: 512mb,
asus nvidia vid card.

1.  Tried to upgrade a fresh install of 9.21 to 10, beta 2 using existing
packages.  Install failed checking installed packages.

2.  Decided to do a full installation after #1 failed.  Both drives found, often
format would fail after selecting default filesystem config.

3.  Continued to "play", selected 2nd HD, formated under Linux Native.
    When back to primary drive, could save drive parameters on 2nd drive 
    but tried same on first drive.  1st drive vanished after failure to write
drive partion info.

4.  Bailed out of installation, re-installed 9.21 - (running right now) and had
no problems with installation.

Note:  If I had to guess once the partation info failed to save, the reset is
cascade failures.
