Hi all,

I have just installed the mandrake 10.1 on my G4 cube with 15'' studio display.

Install went fine (I have to set up the screen to ibook2), but when I tried to reboot, it freeze at
"Montage du système de fichier USB" (setting up the USB file system).
I unactivated all servicies, pressed "I" for interactive, unpluged the printer, the scanner, etc... but nothing worked...

(only kernel "2681-122" boots, the two other ones freeze strait on)

does anybody have any clue of what can be going on?

Thanks.

I had some time to update to cooker again. So a list of bugs I currently
experience on ibook (to keep you all posted, and the list is so silent:)):

- sleep is broken due to some strange interaction between hal daemon,
magicdev and sleep. iBook doesn't wake up. Workaround: remove magicdev
(and kill it if its still running). Does anybody know if magicdev is still
needed now we have haldaemon? I didn't look into it. If it isn't we should
make sure it gets uninstalled.

-If i boot in init 5 keyboard output is blocked. Actually, last test seems
to show keyboard input goes to tty2 instead of tty7 ?? Still researching
this.

-the cannot read/write to /dev/adb error is back (on running hwclock at
boot). Christiaan, IIRC you fixed this for 10.1, but I forgot how :)

-dri/drm might be broken on radeon m7 (lockup). This might be my kernel,so
I will test this a bit further as well.

solved this one as well. Christiaan, can you patch X with path posted in
this thread:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2361
I confirmed that it fixes my problem. I see now it is integrated in stable
yesterday:)

It is also needed on x86.
