Thank you Christiaan Welvaart for your fast answer, but i m afraid to
have done some stupid things when i have tryed the first install (i have
delete all the mac os partition so linux seems to need a boot-strap partition
or something like that.)

So, i have done 2 partitions with the mac os utility and then install
mac os on the first one.
After that , i have install linux on the next, and seems to be ok. yaboot is
working.
Here, the 2 issues i have reported:
First the root pass: I have a root pass with '-' and ',' and some other
special caracter. I'm sure to have well entered them during the install, but
when i m first trying to login as root in my shell....that s failed.... so i
retrying many times with some different possibilities....but every has
failed.... So reinstall.... :/

Next, the eth0 is not recognized.

Finaly, but in relation with the first issue: i didn t be able to find some
special caracters in the bash, like #. I didn t have found macintosh or
something like that in the different type of keyboard.

It sounds good to have mandrake on a power book G4 . Great works what you have
done.

PS: now the third installation seems working well.
