The regular 32-bit ppc kernel may not work on a g5 either, this can apparently be fixed for 2.6. see: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&m=107482583018520&w=2 (no idea if that already went into one of the main trees) But how to install cooker/ppc with a 2.6 kernel I wouldn't know (: Christiaan
