The hdlist in ../Mandrake is for RPMS2/ which you should not use (though doesn't really matter for gnome). ] > I can't find what package is the culprit, since my last upgrade was two > days ago (I guess it is gtk (and related packages) or gnome-session, > two of the upgraded packages). > That was a staightforward upgrade (no --allow-force or --nodeps)... I'm building some more packages so I can have a real gnome env, and test mozilla in the cooker chroot. You may have a mix of e.g. gnome 2.3 and 2.4 packages now... Anyway, looks like I'm gonna test it as well -- I use the latest gnome packages in my hacked cooker install, they work fine so I'm sure it will also work for regular cooker/ppc. > I'll let the community know if I find something great > On a related note, my mozilla-1.5 is really not stable, crashing each > time I try to download a file or at random times. Was the same here, mozilla-1.6 is even worse. I still use dillo or my pc for webbrowsing :( > Oh, BTW, the new XFree86's radeon drivers don't work on my ibook rev2.2 > (radeon 16Mb), with a 'nice' green screen. Green's always nice. maybe you encountered one of these 2 problems: ? http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=340 http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798 > Anyway, that's great to see there is still a community for mdk-ppc, > even if I don't have a lot of time to spend to help it... You're still testing things (: Christiaan
