to all,
some of you may be new, so I will repeat my announcement of 6 months ago:
cougar and bamboo do the samba MacOS X 1.2 and Mandrake Linux 9.1 for PPC do the samba
The key for this dance to begin is using an HFS partition on the G4 as the mount point.
The G4/cougar is the server and the G3/bamboo is the client.
My G4 is partitioned like this: 16GB HFS+ for cougar 4 GB HFS for samba mount point 16 GB unused; waiting for Mandrake Linux 10 for PPC, dual boot
bamboo is to unstable for reliable dual booting.
If you have any questions, get back to me.
