I spot some bad translation when gdm fails to start and goes ahead ask me to select the new XFree server after switching to new videocard. I thought these strings are in drakconf but they're not there. What I'm looking for is the module that have those strings when one launches drakconf at console.
gdm strings => gdm domain mcc in text mode => drakconf domain
Thanks, Thierry. Then it ought to be a bug then. Does anyone else have problems with mcc utf-8 display in console mode? For my LANG, it displays some words fine but messed up the rest. I already look thru drakconf-vi.po and couldn't not find anything wrong with it. For example, when you launch drakconf in console mode, your LANG(utf-8) display fine?
I remember Pablo did say something about curses/ncurses can't display utf-8 but couldn't remember what the detail was.
TIA
