Is XFS a module or part of the kernel in 2.6.3? I have xfs as my root filesystem, and it fails with 2.6.3 with a 'mount error 6', so I'm taking a stab that it might be loading XFS as a module....
XFS is available as a module and I made an XFS /boot installation yesterday to check that the new kernel works. Indeed, XFS was not working in original 2.6.3-6mdk (and probably earlier versions) due to a missing symbol.
Bye, Gwenole.
