I got it working.

Make sure in your modules.conf you have:

alias   char-major-226-0 fglrx
alias   char-major-10-175 agpgart
above agpgart via-agp
above fglrx agpgart

And generate a new modprobe.conf

Where via-agp is the correct agp module for your motherboard

Then install the rpm for 4.3 from ati run there config makeing sure you use the external agpgart and that's it
