Not really a profession but an obsession with me... i have been playing with computers ever since i bought an Apple I back in what 1979 i believe. I have a rather simple raid in my new system dual 80 Gig SATA drives running off the embedded Promise R.A.I.D controller. plus a 250 Gig ATA drive ... I still remember paying over a grand for a 9 Gig SCSI drive :-P

Have to get back to getting this box up and running.

more later

Yes, please. One of these years, I'll probably get into RAID myself, now
that disk capacity is up to the point where I can begin to afford multiple
drives of the same size. (Computing and Linux being a hobby, here, not a
profession, so I'm on a hobby budget.)
