Asus K8V Deluxe motherboard, 1.004 BIOS, with USB keyboard. If the USB keyboard is connected, the system as installed from the RC1 CDs boots and works.
However, the RC1 install disc itself does not work succesfully if the keyboard is connected. This means I need a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to run an install.
However, the system that was installed with a PS/2 mouse and keyboard, and is running with USB mouse and keyboard, shows a _serial_ mouse, generic 2 button, in harddrake, connected to ttyS0. Running the config tool shows the correct USB wheel mouse though.
FWIW both my keyboard and the VIA SATA controller end up under "Unknown/Others".
