I've installed rc1 last weekend, and while things work fine, I've noticed some issues that could be described as 'bugs':

mpg123 tries to play mp3's but produces garbage (xmms works correctly):

MPEG 1.0 layer III, 128 kbit/s, 44100 Hz joint-stereo
mpg123: Can't rewind stream by 25 bits!
mpg123: Can't rewind stream by 6 bits!
mpg123: Can't rewind stream by 3 bits!

Probably an assumption about with of a long or something like that.

Then another: gnome-font-properties segfaults on start.

And I had some installation problems (Asus K8V, bios 1004). One had to do with me using the DVI output on the Nvidia card (I think this works in the latest XFree NV driver) and this was easy to fix.

Another one is that I had problems doing the install with USB keyboard and mouse. Conecting a PS/2 keyboard and mouse solved this. Maybe this can be worked around by disabling USB2 mode in the BIOS? Haven't tried that.

Finally it seems like a good idea to build some software in 32 bit mode. For example tvtime, with the good deinterlacers available only in x86-32 assembler, or perhaps even Mozilla, to be able to run Flash (or someone would need to write a .so loading shim like the one used to run win32 codecs...). But having two build environments is a big waste of space perhaps. And it would be confusing to run two instances of gnome or qt (32 and 64 bit) simultaneously: the libraries may not want to talk to each other after all.

Is this the right place to mention these, or should I get a bugzilla account?
