I have used a Shuttle nForce2 based system, Athlon XP2600, 1Gb memory for database, GIS/spatial analysis & 3D visualisations under Mandrake 9.1 for a few months now, and have found it a reliable and fast system. I'm considering upgrading to a Shuttle XPC SN85G4 (small form factor PC) using the nForce3 chipset and an Athlon 64 3200+ cpu with 2Gb memory. I have been told that given the Shuttle/Mandrake relationship annaounced a few weeks ago, Shuttle would be selling this system bundled with Mandrake A64. Does anyone here know if this is planned? Thanks, Brent Wood
