Hi, I was wondering if anybody else was having problems with re-compiling large projects. i do a make -j 4 vmlinux and a make -j 4 modules in the linux-2.6.0-test11 and it goes off and compiles. The problem is that the usability of the system just drops right away whilst the compilation is occurring. it's kinda like the scheduler gets stuck. My system is: Tyan Tiger K8W (Dual) 2 x Opteron 240's 1GB RAM 1 x 80GB + 1 x 120GB Drives Couple of Ethernet adapters (3com & Realtek) FX5200 Graphics. I am keen to know if anyone else is experiencing similar issues. Kind regards Mark
