Hi Duncan,

You are right. I tried to install it from console mode and found out 
that the checksum was bad. I have now downloaded it again and installed 
the missing file from the console windows. Now its works!!

So the only thing now is network connection on the ASUS SK8N. In the 
Mandrake wizard for the network setup there are an error. When you 
choose LAN and next it will not go away from this menu (it works fine if 
you choose ADSL or cable instead of)!? I will try tommorow to figure out 
how I can install the network without the wizard.
