Hi Charlie,

That's sound very strange!?? I have changed the BIOS settings to Enable
Promise controller. when it is booting the first time I have used Crtl F
to setup the promise controller to "Performance" = RAID 0.
I will try to look into again.

Do you know a way to slow down all the messages shown when the system is
booting so I can see what is going on??

Tonight I have tried to install on an IDE harddisk instead of SATA. I have
one installation error "kdebase-common-3.1.3-82mdk.amd". Do you know what
this is doing? I have tried on KDE.org to find a description!??

All things seens to be working (not ethernet). However I don't have any
ICONS or Menus on my screen (only blue)!?? Very strange unless it has
something to do with the error kdebase-comm.....?

best regards

Joergen Erik
