Today gave up waiting and installed MDK on a IDE hard drive (although I got a RAID :-( )... It runs really fine and the design really kicks ass. Now I am looking to see what is to do for porting the Promise drivers to AMD64. Status: 2 of 3 Object-File are build after kicking out the -march switch from the Makefile ;-) The only problem I encounter is that the rules for building modules have changed somehow (just have a look @ /usr/include/linux/version.h) and I am not really this into building kernel modules. The third file which doesn't compile has just 800 lines and no ASM code as far as I had look at it so I don't think it's a big thing. The driver is btw GNU... So I'd like to ask if someone could help me a bit to make this thing working (maybe via IRC or so...). Thx, David
